An Executive Coach with two decades of experience, Shawn O’Connor has extensive experience as a successful founder, C-Suite executive, management consultant, and trusted advisor to numerous senior business leaders globally.

An honors graduate of both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School, Shawn has taught graduate-level business courses and executive education at Harvard for six years.

In addition to his work coaching professionals at Oak Bluffs Therapy Group, Shawn serves as the company’s CEO.

Before joining Oak Bluffs Therapy Group, Shawn worked at McKinsey & Company, Lehman Brothers, and Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) and consulted for numerous Fortune 500 companies.

In 2006, he launched Stratus Prep, a global tutoring and admissions counseling firm. Over the next eight years, he grew the firm to over one hundred professionals serving students in over 40 states and 50 countries. During that time, Stratus Prep was twice named in the Inc, 5000 (the list of the nation’s 5000 fastest growing companies). Shawn sold Stratus Prep to a private equity firm in 2014.
